Risk and Compliance Manager at Odotobri Rural Bank Ltd

About the Role

Odotobri Rural Bank PLC, located in the Ashanti Region, is seeking a Risk and Compliance Manager to join our team. This is a full-time position responsible for managing risk identification, compliance monitoring, and regulatory reporting for the bank.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify all risks across the organization, monitor compliance, and ensure adherence to risk management protocols
• Set appropriate tolerance levels for identified risks and monitor ongoing compliance
• Establish and implement measures to prevent or mitigate identified risks
• Vet and collate all cash and suspicious transactions that meet Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC) thresholds and submit reports to FIC
• Organize compliance training for Directors and staff at least once per financial year
• Develop and maintain the AML/CFT Compliance Programme and serve as the AML/CFT reporting officer for the bank
• Supervise and ensure monthly AML reports are submitted to Bank of Ghana
• Liaise with the Internal Audit Department to investigate suspicious AML/CFT transactions
• Ensure full implementation of examination concerns and follow-ups for compliance

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, ACIB, or CIMA
• Master's Degree in a related field (preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years of working experience in a similar position within the rural banking industry

Reporting Line

This position reports to the Chief Executive Officer, except on matters relating to AML/CFT.
