The University of Ghana's College of Education has established the Legon Centre for Education Research and Policy (LCERP). The Centre's mission is to create an authoritative research platform committed to advancing participatory research and advocacy for excellence in education.

Position Overview

The College of Education, University of Ghana invites applications from suitably qualified persons for appointment as Research Fellows in the Legon Centre for Education Research and Policy. This is a full-time position available immediately.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively promote the mission and pursue the functions of LCERP
• Develop detailed work plans for research activities, including schedules of proposals developed and submitted for grants
• Conduct individual research or collaborate in wider research and scholarly activities of the Centre to enhance its profile
• Proactively contribute to collaborative research initiatives

Required Qualifications

• PhD in Education, Economics, Development Studies, or any related social science discipline
• Strong quantitative background (preferred)
• Proficiency in statistical packages for data management (e.g., STATA, SPSS, or similar)
• Demonstrated ability or capacity to attract funding for research and innovation
