Project Engineer a Bunge

About the Role

Join Bunge as a Project Engineer and help drive project optimization for our plant in Tema, Ghana. In this impactful position, you will initiate, plan, coordinate, execute, control, and ensure timely commissioning and closure of projects in a safe and cost-efficient manner.

Bunge in Western Africa is a main global leader within the agrocommodities and Shea sector. This role is crucial to our WA business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead new plant installations (in-house and external)
• Manage end-to-end project requirements including yearly CAPEX planning, documentation, and approval initiation
• Develop project scope, FEED (Front End Engineering Design), and definite design specifications
• Coordinate project design with stakeholders and design institutes
• Participate in project budgeting activities
• Monitor and supervise all project construction activities and status reporting
• Prepare project governance reports and tender documents for pre-bid selection
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks
• Resolve project-related problems effectively
• Follow up on contract management and payment processing
• Ensure all site work safety rules and regulations are strictly observed
• Raise concerns and constraints to stakeholder attention in a timely manner
