About the Role

We invite internal applications from suitably qualified persons for the position of Pharmacist or Senior Pharmacist. This role combines clinical trial management with comprehensive pharmacy services delivery, requiring a commitment to cutting-edge research and the development of specialized pharmaceutical care within our clinical trials program.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and collaborate with research teams to provide expert support for clinical drug trials
• Provide accurate and efficient dispensing of medications
• Direct pharmacy operations and supervise pharmacy staff in assigned areas
• Perform cross-functional duties, including those of Admixture Pharmacist
• Develop and maintain policies and guidelines for pharmaceutical clinical trials in compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards
• Serve as research expert to advise on trial design, procurement of Investigational Medicinal Products (IMP), randomization, blinding, and documentation for in-house clinical trials
• Maintain effective communication with research staff, pharmacy personnel, and Principal Investigators of clinical trials
• Develop and review clinical pharmaceutical trial proposals
• Liaise with specialist clinical teams to assess potential ethical issues and feasibility
• Support grantsmanship and collaboration on additional research projects to promote linkage between research and industry
• Deliver additional pharmacy services including dispensary operations, procurement, and clinical pharmacy services

Key Qualifications and Requirements

Candidates should be suitably qualified professionals with expertise in pharmaceutical operations and preferably experience in clinical trials management and Good Clinical Practice standards.
