Operations Manager at Fiagya Rural Bank PLC

About the Position

Fiagya Rural Bank PLC is seeking a qualified Operations Manager to join our team. This is a full-time position based in Nkoranza, Bono-East Region, Ghana.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee operational activities and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
• Lead and manage branch operations with strong leadership abilities
• Make sound financial decisions and manage allocated area's operation activities
• Maintain concentration while multitasking in a dynamic banking environment
• Communicate effectively with staff and customers
• Manage Susu activities (preferred experience)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum First Degree in Banking and Finance, Economics, Accounting, Marketing, or related fields
• Minimum 10 years of working experience in the banking sector
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Operations Manager or Branch Manager
• Minimum age of 35 years

Required Skills & Competencies

• Advanced leadership and team management abilities
• Computer literacy with proficiency in T24 Banking software
• Comprehensive knowledge of banking laws and regulations
• Strong financial acumen and decision-making capabilities
• Excellent communication skills
• Adaptability to local conditions
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Higher or professional qualification in relevant field
• Knowledge and experience managing Susu activities
