Job Summary
As a National Service Person in the Sales & Marketing Team, you will gain hands-on experience in the building materials industry while supporting the company's sales and marketing operations. This role is designed to provide practical exposure to market research, customer engagement, sales coordination, and promotional activities. You will work closely with the Sales & Marketing Executives to contribute to business growth and brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Sales & Marketing team with day-to-day operations, reporting, and coordination
- Support customer relationship management by handling inquiries, following up on leads, and maintaining client databases
- Assist in preparing sales proposals, quotations, and presentations
- Conduct basic market research and competitor analysis to support strategy development
- Participate in showroom/branch activities including product display, stock checks, and sales activation
- Support planning and execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, and events
- Prepare sales and marketing reports (daily, weekly, monthly)
- Maintain proper documentation of sales orders and related transactions
- Collaborate with internal departments (logistics, accounts, production) to ensure smooth order processing
- Complete other tasks assigned by the Sales & Marketing Supervisor/Manager
Qualifications & Requirements
- Recent graduate eligible for National Service (preferably in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or related field)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of sales and marketing principles
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
