Manager, Design Unit at GRATIS Foundation

About the Role

GRATIS Foundation, an agency under the Ministry of Trade and Industry (MOTI), is seeking a qualified Manager for the Design Unit. In this role, you will lead and manage the strategic business unit responsible for engineering services and spare parts production.

Major Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the strategic business unit (SBU) responsible for engineering services and spare parts production
• Oversee all aspects of the SBU's operations, including production, engineering, quality control, and supply chain management

Required Qualifications & Experience

You must meet one of the following educational and experience requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial) or a related field with a minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience in manufacturing or engineering services
• HND in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience in manufacturing or engineering services

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Engineering)
• Knowledge in operating Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines
