About the Position

The Department of Plant and Environmental Biology under the School of Biological Sciences, University of Ghana invites applications from qualified persons for a full-time position as Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Plant Anatomy.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach Plant Anatomy and other Basic Plant Science courses
• Conduct state-of-the-art research in plant anatomy
• Promote the development of the Plant Anatomy programme
• Pursue grantsmanship and research funding opportunities
• Work collaboratively within a team environment

Required Qualifications & Experience

• BSc. in Plant Science or related discipline
• PhD in Plant Anatomy with expertise in Classical Anatomical Studies
• Capacity to work effectively in a team
• Ability to teach multiple Basic Plant Science courses
