## Title: Lecturer / Senior Lecturer in Phycology

About the Position

The Department of Plant and Environmental Biology under the School of Biological Sciences, University of Ghana invites applications from qualified candidates for a full-time position as Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Phycology.

Key Responsibilities

Teach phycology and other basic plant science courses
Conduct state-of-the-art research in algae and related disciplines
Promote the development of the Plant Tissue Culture programme
Pursue grants and research funding opportunities
Work collaboratively within a team environment

Required Qualifications

BSc. in Plant Science or related disciplines (preferably Aquatic Biology or Botany)
PhD in Plant Biology with expertise in algae (Phycology)
Demonstrated capacity to work in teams
Not exceed 45 years of age
