Position Overview

Join a leading organization as a Programme Officer – WASH based in the Ahafo Region, Ghana. This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to water, sanitation, and hygiene projects while managing key operations and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake project management activities with partners
• Implement field-level project activities in the Ahafo Region
• Support research and studies initiatives
• Support learning and knowledge management at district and regional levels through District and Regional Learning Alliance Platforms
• Submit quality and timely reports on project implementation and IRC reporting requirements
• Support business development and fundraising efforts
• Manage the District Hub office operations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree minimum with 3 years of relevant professional experience
• Good understanding of key concepts and trends in the water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) sector
• Relevant experience in research (design, data analysis, and report writing) and policy analysis
• Demonstrated experience in learning and knowledge management and networking
• Proven field work coordination experience
• Fluent in English with strong writing skills; proficiency in a local language is preferred
• Willingness to work in a district setting and travel nationally and internationally

Advantageous Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a district
• Understanding of project management principles
• Additional relevant qualifications

Employment Terms

The position is offered on an initial one-year contract with a six-month probation period. The contract is renewable based on satisfactory performance.
