ActionAid Ghana (AAG) is an Affiliate of ActionAid International, seeking an experienced and self-motivated professional to fill the position of Internal Audit Manager.
Position Overview
The Internal Audit Manager shall support ActionAid Ghana to establish and maintain effective and efficient internal control systems to safeguard organizational assets and ensure optimum use of resources to achieve organizational goals.
The post holder will work in close consultation with ActionAid International Internal Audit Team to ensure effective compliance with Federation requirements and accountability mechanisms. This is a senior management position reporting to the Board Finance and Audit Sub-Committee.
Job Purpose
The internal audit function provides independent, objective assurance and advisory activity designed to create and protect value. This role supports ActionAid's efforts to achieve its objectives by systematically evaluating and improving the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and control processes.
The post holder will support the country programme independently to establish and maintain effective and efficient internal control systems to safeguard organizational assets and values, and ensure optimum use of resources to achieve organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Support ActionAid Ghana in establishing and maintaining effective internal control systems
- Safeguard organizational assets and ensure efficient resource utilization
- Collaborate with ActionAid International Internal Audit Team on compliance matters
- Ensure adherence to Federation requirements and accountability mechanisms
- Evaluate and improve governance and risk management processes
