ActionAid Ghana (AAG), an Affiliate of ActionAid International, is seeking an experienced and self-motivated professional to fill the position of Internal Audit Manager.

Position Overview

This is a senior management position reporting to the Board Finance and Audit Sub-Committee. The Internal Audit Manager will support ActionAid Ghana in establishing and maintaining effective and efficient internal control systems to safeguard organizational assets and ensure optimal use of resources to achieve organizational goals.

Role Purpose

The internal audit function provides independent, objective assurance and advisory activities designed to create and protect value. This role will support ActionAid's efforts to achieve its objectives by systematically evaluating and improving the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and control processes.

The post holder will work in close consultation with the ActionAid International Internal Audit Team to ensure effective compliance with Federation requirements and accountability mechanisms.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain effective and efficient internal control systems to safeguard organizational assets
• Ensure optimum use of resources to achieve organizational goals
• Provide independent, objective assurance and advisory support to the country programme
• Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and control processes
• Work in close consultation with ActionAid International Internal Audit Team
• Ensure effective compliance with Federation requirements and accountability mechanisms
