Position Overview

This position offers a great opportunity for career growth. The Sales Manager will be responsible for recruiting, setting goals, coaching, and monitoring top sales performance while managing the day-to-day operations of the sales team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit, set goals, coach, and monitor top sales performance
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of sales team members
  • Ensure sales team members are fully resourced and equipped with required sales documentation, including marketing materials, proposals, and contract templates
  • Motivate, guide, and educate the sales team on best practices, providing the support and confidence needed to sell effectively
  • Lead by example in achieving personal and team targets month on month
  • Ensure compliance with company minimum standards for the Sales function
  • Enforce sales team adoption and use of Salesforce CRM tool for sales process management
  • Build team spirit and create harmony within the sales team for optimum performance
  • Maintain people and non-people costs of the sales and business development functions within budget

Required Qualifications

  • BA/BSc/MS degree in Sales and Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5 years of previous experience in a sales role within the security industry, preferably Electronic Security Systems (ESS) sales
  • Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Proven ability to close "big ticket" sales
  • Strong business sense and knowledge of the security industry

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills
  • Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences
