Job Summary
La Community Bank LTD seeks a qualified Information Technology Manager to lead the IT team in developing and implementing information systems that enhance operations and drive efficiency through technology.
This role involves managing day-to-day IT operations while ensuring proper planning, end user impact management, change management, training, and quality control. The successful candidate will monitor deadlines, budgets, and service levels to deliver consistent results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the IT team in development and implementation of information systems
- Manage day-to-day operations of IT systems
- Oversee planning and end user impact assessments
- Direct change management and training initiatives
- Monitor quality management standards
- Ensure deadlines, budgets, and service levels are met
Required Qualifications
- First degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field
- Relevant professional certification (e.g., CCNP, MCP, OCP)
- Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a rural or community bank
Required Knowledge and Skills
- In-depth knowledge of banking operations and core banking software (e.g., Bankmill or T24)
- Working knowledge of IT infrastructure
- Database technologies experience (SQL, Oracle)
- Network and systems administration (Windows, Linux, Novell)
- Enterprise database systems knowledge
- Understanding of Data Protection Act and related industry legislations, standards, and codes of practice
- Information risk analysis and management expertise
