About the Role

Mantrac Ghana LTD is hiring Hydraulic Mining Shovel Electricians for full-time positions in Accra, Ghana.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair hydraulic mining shovels and earth moving equipment
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and hydraulic system faults
• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment
• Work flexible schedules including weekends and extended hours as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum Electrical Engineering Technician Part 1 qualification
• Minimum 3 years hands-on post-qualification experience with earth moving equipment or hydraulic mining shovels
• Valid Ghanaian driver's license (Category BE)

Essential Skills & Experience

• Ability to read, understand, and interpret technical literature and electrical schematics
• Proficiency with CAT SIS and Electronic Technician (ET) software
• Strong understanding of power generation systems and operation
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Excellent reading and writing skills
• Ability to work with minimal or no supervision

Working Conditions

• Willingness to work long hours and weekends
• Ability to work in noisy and dirty environments
• Based in Accra, Ghana
