## Title: Human Resources Officer

Job Summary

The Human Resources Officer will be responsible for developing, leading, contributing to, implementing and advising on various initiatives that align with the organization's culture and values.

The incumbent will serve as the subject matter expert for managing functional areas in human resources, including recruitment, compensation and benefits management, learning and development, performance management and employee engagement.

The role involves providing guidance and counselling to staff when necessary, while ensuring the growth, development and well-being of team members.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment

  • Provide guidance to line managers and supervisors on crafting job descriptions for employees and scope of work for consultants
  • Collaborate with line managers and supervisors on the recruitment of vacancies and new roles arising within the organization
  • Support management on the recruitment of consultants for programmes
  • Manage new joiner orientation and onboarding processes through to confirmation
  • Manage the offboarding process in case of employee separation while ensuring positive experiences for departing employees
  • Apply knowledge of local and applicable international labour laws and regulations to ensure organizational compliance with legal requirements

Performance Management

  • Support management in the bi-annual staff performance review process
  • Monitor the performance management process to ensure effectiveness and staff growth and development
  • Collaborate with line managers and supervisors to implement performance management plans
