Position Overview

Healthwise Medical Centre is seeking a Dispensing/Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Tema. This position offers a great opportunity for career growth while helping patients and clients meet their healthcare needs in a safe and healthy environment.

You will work under the supervision of the pharmacist to implement physician orders, dispense prescribed medications, and maintain our pharmacy operations in accordance with our mission and vision.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense only prescribed medications as ordered by physicians
• Fill and label patient prescriptions under pharmacist supervision
• Ensure medications are stored appropriately and securely
• Conduct regular inventory of medications and medical supplies
• Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy environment while complying with all procedures, rules, and regulations
• Deliver customer service that is timely, efficient, accurate, and promotes goodwill
• Conduct all tasks with the highest standard of professionalism and confidentiality

Required Qualifications

• Minimum HND (Pharmacy)
• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
• Preferably work experience in a healthcare setting
• Strong technical knowledge of pharmacy operations
• Very good communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
