Head, Business Intelligence & Analytics at MTN Ghana

Job Summary

The Head of Business Intelligence & Analytics is responsible for developing, monitoring, and managing an effective BI & Analytics team while overseeing big data and advanced analytics initiatives, data integration/engineering, and business intelligence and data warehousing. This role drives the performance of analytics solutions to impact overall business results and delivers actionable insights to business and product teams to aid in strategic decision making.

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage and lead three core sub-functions: Insights and Analytics, Data Science, and BI & Reporting
• Provide access to critical information supporting multiple business areas including sales & distribution, finance, and marketing
• Develop functional strategy aligned with overarching business goals
• Ensure effective implementation of functional strategy by providing direction, structure, frameworks, models, plans, and roadmaps
• Oversee regular review of functional strategy and roadmap to ensure alignment with changing internal and external ecosystem dynamics
• Lead analytics teams in delivering insights that support strategic decision making across the organization
