About Our Africa Operations
Newmont's Africa Operations manages two gold mining operations in Ghana: the Ahafo Mine located in the Brong-Ahafo region and the Akyem Mine located in the Eastern region. We also maintain near-mine exploration and development activities to annually replace gold reserves, and early-stage exploration programs in Ethiopia and Morocco.
Our Africa operations employ approximately 5,900 employees and contractors, with the majority working at the Ahafo Mine. We are committed to industry-leading performance in environmental management, health and safety, and creating value for our employees, host communities, and shareholders.
Both the Akyem and Ahafo mines have established Development Funds, with each mine contributing US$1 per ounce of gold sold and 1% of net pre-tax annual profit to community development initiatives.
About The Role
We are seeking a skilled Grader Operator to deliver daily maintenance of haul roads, digging floors, and dumping areas in a safe and controlled manner.
