About the Organization
The Regional Universities Forum for Capacity Building in Agriculture (RUFORUM) and the University of Cape Coast have partnered to implement the TAGDev 2.0 Programme in Ghana. The programme aims to ensure that Africa's young people and their institutions drive inclusive, equitable, and climate-smart resilient socio-economic development in their societies. RUFORUM is coordinating the programme with sponsorship from the MasterCard Foundation.
About the Position
This role establishes the Agri-food Systems and Entrepreneurship Center (ASEC) at the University of Cape Coast, which will serve as the TAGDev 2.0 Programme Coordinating Unit for the first phase of 5 years.
Position Details

Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure gender and inclusion mainstreaming and provide proactive technical support to the organization on gender issues
- Plan, implement, and undertake follow-up on gender issues, wellness, and inclusion-related activities
- Provide technical support to the Programme Coordinator and Associate Programme Officer in developing and executing gender mainstreaming, wellness, and inclusion plans
- Collaborate with the SPO Business Creation, Incubation and Jobs, PO Digital Economy Integration, and PO Business Development Services to develop strategies and implement actions for increasing the quality of students' transitions to dignified and fulfilling work
- Undertake gender mainstreaming activities
- Launch and maintain gender, inclusion, and wellness mainstreaming initiatives
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports on gender, wellness, and inclusion services and initiatives
