Food & Beverage Supervisor at Reputable Hotel

About the Role

A three-star hotel located in the Eastern Region of Ghana seeks an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor to coordinate and supervise all food and beverage operations and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise activities of food and beverage staff to provide high-quality services to guests
• Assist in training the food and beverage team on a regular basis in liaison with the Food & Beverage Manager
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all menu items being served
• Ensure all beverage write-offs and breakages are signed off by the F&B cost controller and F&B Manager on a regular basis
• Ensure all food and beverage complementary bills are posted, settled, and signed off by relevant managers daily
• Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service to all guests
• Supervise the food and beverage team in all aspects of the department and ensure standard operating procedures are followed
• Submit monthly reports on food and beverage operations to the Food & Beverage Manager
• Maintain high grooming and hygiene standards for the food and beverage team
• Assist the F&B Manager in conducting periodic performance reviews for the food and beverage team
• Perform any other duties as assigned by management

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar supervisory position in a 3-star hotel
• Diploma in Hotel Management or equivalent from a recognized academic institution in Ghana
• Culinary training is advantageous
