About the Position

Wiawso College Education is seeking a suitably qualified, goal-oriented, analytical, innovative, visionary and results-driven Finance Officer to join our institution. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional qualities and a commitment to excellence in financial management.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Serve as head of the College Accounts Office and Chief Accounting Officer
• Act as Financial Advisor to the Principal in the administration and management of the college
• Prepare financial statements in accordance with the laws establishing the college, statutes, and applicable accounting standards and regulations
• Ensure compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements approved by the college

Qualifications and Experience Required

• First degree in Finance
• Postgraduate degree in Finance
• Professional qualification in Accounting
• Minimum 4 years of experience as Deputy Finance Officer in a college of education or comparable grade in analogous institutions
