Job description
Role Purpose
To provide technical and operational support for sound financial administration to the organisation. The Finance Manager will assist management in making sound financial decisions and ensure effective oversight of all financial functions.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement overall financial goals of the organisation
- Monitor day-to-day financial operations within the organisation
- Take charge of the organisation's treasury functions
- Prepare monthly and annual financial statements for the organisation
- Prepare and submit annual budget to management
- Adhere to internal control policies
Qualifications Required
Professional qualification (ICAG, ACCA, CIMA or CPA) or MBA in Finance/Accounting with a minimum of 5 years working experience in a similar position, of which at least 3 years must be in a senior management position.
Required Skills and Experience
- Ability to prepare financial statements
- Ability to prepare annual budgets
- Proficiency with computer programs such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Good knowledge of company law and taxation
