Finance Manager at Ada Rural Bank PLC

Job Summary

Ada Rural Bank PLC seeks a suitably qualified Finance Manager to play a critical role in guiding the financial direction of the bank. Reporting directly to the CEO, this position is responsible for overseeing all financial activities, including accounting, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset with the ability to provide insights that drive the bank's financial performance and growth.

Core Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the development of the bank's strategy and develop and manage resulting strategic initiatives in line with the bank's vision
• Initiate, coordinate, and consolidate the preparation of the bank's budgets, reviews, and targets
• Monitor the rollout and implementation of departmental strategic plans, assessing performance against targets and reporting on progress as required
• Implement and maintain internal financial controls, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of information in the bank's financial systems
• Prepare reconciliation statements for the bank's accounts with ARB Apex Bank PLC and other accounts held by the bank
• Manage and control the monthly management reporting process, including explanations of variances and trends to management and the board in a timely manner
• Supervise the preparation and submission of the bank's statutory reports and returns to ARB Apex Bank, BOG, GRA, SSNIT, and other relevant regulatory bodies in a timely manner
• Process payment of employee emoluments and other approved expenses as advised by the HR department
• Manage the bank's liquidity in consultation with the Operations and Credit departments
