External Auditor at Fiaseman Rural Bank PLC

About the Position

Fiaseman Rural Bank PLC, a rural bank based in the Western Region of Ghana, is seeking to engage the services of an external auditor. The successful firm will audit the bank's financial statements and issue reports in accordance with all statutory requirements on an annual basis for a 6-year engagement period.

Key Responsibilities

• Audit financial statements of the bank annually in accordance with all statutory requirements
• Issue audit reports meeting regulatory standards
• Maintain engagement for the full 6-year contract period

Firm Requirements

• Must qualify under Section 138 of the Company Act 2019 (Act 992)
• Must be a licensed audit firm recognized in Ghana according to the Institute of Chartered Accountants Act 2020 (Act 1058)
• Must be in good standing with the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana at the time of application and throughout the recruitment process
• Must have been in audit practice for at least 20 years
• Must have audited a rural bank for more than 18 years
• Must have sufficient qualified staff to undertake audit assignments at any given time

Team Lead Requirements

• Must hold requisite professional qualifications
• Must have continuously handled audit assignments for not less than 15 years
• Must be a person of high integrity

Required Proposal Documents

• Curriculum vitae (CVs) of key personnel who will be involved, with specific roles clearly defined
• Evidence of similar assignments conducted within the last 15 years, including references
• Technical proposal including detailed methodology, work schedules, and verifiable means of quality assurance
