External Auditor at Asokore Rural Bank PLC

About the Role

Asokore Rural Bank PLC is inviting applications from suitably qualified Ghanaian audit firms to serve as External Auditors for the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake comprehensive auditing of the bank's operational activities
• Test and evaluate the adequacy of the bank's internal control systems
• Provide professional advisory services as required
• Conduct audits in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the Companies Act 2019 (Act 992), and the Banking and Specialized Deposit-Taking Institution Act 2016 (Act 930)
• Prepare the bank's annual financial report for presentation to shareholders at Annual General Meetings (AGMs)
• Advise the board on any weaknesses identified in financial statements to ensure they are free from material misstatement
• Provide additional advisory or audit services as requested

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience as an External Auditor
• Track record in auditing within rural banking
• Knowledge of external auditing practices, relevant regulations, and applicable acts
• Demonstrated expertise in accounting standards and current IFRS reporting standards
• Licensed in accordance with the Institute of Chartered Accountants Act 2020 (Act 1058)
