Position Overview
Title: Director, Institutional Advancement Directorate
Reports To: Vice-Chancellor
Location: Accra, Ghana
Employment Type: Full-Time
Effective Date: January 1, 2026
Key Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Vice-Chancellor, the Director will be responsible for implementing the mandate of the Institutional Advancement Directorate, including:
- Developing and enhancing strong relationships with University of Ghana alumni, industry, and the business community
- Marketing the University to build institutional visibility and reputation
- Formulating and implementing strategies to enhance the University's ability to source funds for developmental goals
- Developing comprehensive fundraising strategies to support institutional growth and advancement
- Promoting goodwill with stakeholders and external partners
