About the Role

A reputable financial institution in the Ashanti Region is seeking qualified Credit Officers to effectively manage and grow the institution's credit portfolio at the Branch level.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and grow the institution's credit portfolio
• Evaluate commercial credit applications
• Prepare and analyze financial statements
• Justify the rationale for credit recommendations
• Exercise credit authority within delegated limits
• Prepare and submit timely prudential and management reports

Required Qualifications

• First Degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, or a related field
• 3 years of banking experience or experience in a related industry

Required Skills and Competencies

• Commercial credit evaluation expertise
• Strong understanding of financial statements
• Excellent analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Professional demeanor with strong ethical standards
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Capability to grow and manage credit portfolios effectively
