## Title: Credit Manager

About the Position

Odotobri Rural Bank PLC, located in Jacobu, Amansie Central District, Ashanti Region, seeks to employ a Credit Manager. This is a full-time position reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare credit strategy for the bank
  • Make recommendations for review of lending policy
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and reports regarding key credit issues, exposures, and periodic credit review reports to the CEO
  • Prepare monthly credit reports and submit all loans reports to Credit Reference Bureaus
  • Register all securities in the collateral registry
  • Carry out regular credit facility reviews to ensure compliance with terms and conditions
  • Monitor all loans and report early warning signs to the Chief Executive Officer
  • Serve as Secretary to the management credit committee
  • Maintain minimum loan recovery rate of 98% on a monthly basis
  • Achieve monthly recovery rate of 5% for overdue loans

Required Qualifications

  • First degree in a related field
  • Acceptable professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, ACIB, CIMA, or project management certification
  • Master's degree in a related field (advantageous)
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in a similar position within the rural banking industry

Required Skills & Attributes

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Strong planning, quantitative, and analytical skills
  • Advanced computer literacy
  • Sound understanding of IFRS 9 credit impairment models
