Sanlam Insurance is seeking to recruit a Channel Executive (Retail) for our office in Accra, Ghana.

Job Purpose

Lead the retail channel to deliver sustained market growth founded on delightful and reliable customer experience. Enable individuals and families to be financially confident and live a life of confidence.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategy to deliver retail market growth objectives
• Attract, train, support, and retain an engaged and happy team of advisors
• Ensure delivery of productivity budgets in line with sales mix and key imperatives
• Build market pipelines, open new markets, and lead and support advisors to meet productivity targets
• Maintain stakeholder engagement by obtaining feedback from customers, industry, and other stakeholders to drive offering and service improvements for the retail market segment
• Exercise decisive entrepreneurial leadership to build and sustain a performance excellence culture aligned with Sanlam core values
• Perform any other duties assigned by the line manager

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Fully qualified insurance professional with active membership in a recognised insurance professional body (e.g., CIIG, CII-UK)
• Minimum of Bachelor's Degree or HND in Marketing, Insurance, Risk Management, or related field
• At least 5 years of senior managerial experience in the financial services industry with channel leadership focus
• Proven track record of successful channel leadership
• Demonstrated work and ethical standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Marketing, Insurance, Risk Management, or related field
