## Title: Assistant Finance Officer

Job Purpose

To provide operational support for the efficient and effective performance of the financial management functions of the Agency.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collect data for the formulation of policies
  • Implement programmes and activities of the Unit
  • Ensure compliance with the provisions of financial management laws, regulations, and other fiscal policies
  • Collect data for the preparation of annual financial reports of the Agency
  • Collect data for the analysis of financial reports
  • Implement financial recommendations contained in audit reports
  • Collect data for the preparation of the annual work plan and budget for the Unit
  • Collect data for the preparation of annual and other periodic reports for the Unit

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or other related disciplines from an accredited tertiary institution, OR a minimum of Level II qualification from a recognized and relevant professional body (e.g., ICA-GH, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA)
  • Completed National Service
  • Must pass a selection interview conducted by the Agency in collaboration with the Public Services Commission

  • Knowledge of financial management laws, regulations, and fiscal policies
  • Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of relevant IT applications
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • High integrity and good ethical standards
