## Title: Assistant Finance Officer

Position Overview

The Assistant Finance Officer will provide operational support for the efficient and effective performance of the financial management functions of the National African Peer Review Mechanism (NAPRM-GC).

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collect data for the formulation of policies
  • Implement programmes and activities of the Unit
  • Ensure compliance with financial management laws, regulations, and other fiscal policies
  • Collect data for the preparation of annual financial reports of the Agency
  • Collect data for the analysis of financial reports
  • Implement financial recommendations contained in audit reports
  • Collect data for the preparation of the annual work plan and budget for the Unit
  • Collect data for the preparation of annual and other periodic reports for the Unit

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline from an accredited tertiary institution, OR
  • Minimum Level II qualification from a recognized professional body (e.g., ICA-GH, ACCA, CPA, or CIMA)
  • Completion of National Service
  • Successful completion of selection interview conducted by the Agency in collaboration with the Public Services Commission

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with relevant IT applications
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • High integrity and good ethical standards
