Position Overview
AirtelTigo seeks a dedicated Sales Manager for Corporate Community Accounts in the Business Department. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Corporate Sales and lead a team to implement enterprise sales strategy, grow revenue, and increase sales order values for Corporate Community accounts.
You will safeguard and grow revenue from allocated corporate accounts nationally through account planning, opportunity management, and relationship building to meet annual targets for sales, revenues, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide account data to the Director of Corporate Sales for developing sales plans and monitoring implementation
- Lead account and virtual teams to meet profitability and revenue targets
- Develop contact strategies and account development plans (ADP) for allocated sectors
- Build a pipeline of qualified prospects, managing decision-making processes within allocated accounts to ensure sales closure
- Exercise thought leadership at Board level within allocated accounts, demonstrating understanding of customer business strategies and presenting compelling AirtelTigo Business value propositions
- Identify sales training and development needs; manage skills enhancement for team and virtual account team members
- Ensure integrated channel management supported by appropriate systems such as CRM; use knowledge management to increase account management professionalism
- Integrate quality management processes within all sales activities for allocated accounts, ensuring effective day-to-day deployment
- Use relevant metrics and measures to routinely monitor progress against targets
