Job Summary

Responsible for performing period close, consolidation, and reconciliation of intercompany accounts within the financial services function. This role supports the accounting function in a dynamic telecommunications environment with diverse responsibilities across revenue, payroll, and balance sheet reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture revenue and costs, and perform timely and accurate reconciliations (Roaming, Interconnect, etc.)
• Support monthly, interim, and final reporting and auditing processes
• Manage salaries, SSF, PAYE, PF, leave days, and related accounting and reconciliations
• Perform staff-related balance sheet reconciliations and staff debtor analysis
• Execute intercompany and partner accounting, analysis, and reconciliations
• Process and manage intercompany cash flow activities
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations related to intercompany transactions
• Prepare cash flow statements and reconcile cash flow to financials
• Perform transaction and payment analysis and reconciliations
• Analyze and account for rent prepayments and amortization
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations related to rent prepayments and amortization
• Prepare aging analysis and lease commitments documentation for auditors
• Support analysis and documentation of OpEx accrual basis
• Conduct balance sheet reconciliations related to lease payments and commitments
• Coordinate and document interconnect-related activities (meetings, invoicing, collections support, receivable aging, settlement sheets)
• Prepare management dashboards and reports
• Process provisions, adjustments, and VAT/CST transactions
• Record payments and receipts in the general ledger
