Position Overview

As Vice Principal, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Principal with the overall management, administration, and academic and disciplinary matters of the college. Your responsibilities will be guided by the Colleges of Education Act 2012 (Act 847) and other regulatory provisions, working under the guidance of the college's Governing Council.

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in a relevant area of specialization
• Rank not below Senior Lecturer in tertiary education institutions
• Exemplary character and high degree of personal integrity
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in a senior management position
• In-depth knowledge of challenges facing Colleges of Education in Ghana and readiness to propose solutions

Employment Terms

• Full-time position
• Initial appointment term of 3 years
• Applicants must be able to complete at least one full term before attaining the compulsory retirement age of 60 years
