Position Overview

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Vice Principal. As Vice Principal, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Principal with the overall management, administration, and academic and disciplinary issues of the college. Your responsibilities will align with the Colleges of Education Act 2012 (Act 847) and other regulatory provisions, under the guidance of the college's Governing Council.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Principal with overall college management and administration
• Oversee academic matters and institutional policies
• Handle disciplinary issues in accordance with college regulations
• Work within the framework of the Colleges of Education Act 2012 (Act 847)
• Collaborate with the college's Governing Council

Required Qualifications

• Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in a relevant area of specialization
• Rank not below Senior level in tertiary education institutions
• Exemplary character and high degree of personal integrity
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in a senior management position
• In-depth knowledge of challenges facing Colleges of Education in Ghana with readiness to propose solutions

Term of Office

• Full-time appointment
• Applicants must be able to complete at least one term of 3 years before attaining the compulsory retirement age of 60 years
