## Title: Vice Principal

About the Role

St Teresa's College of Education seeks an experienced and distinguished educator to serve as Vice Principal. In this leadership position, you will play a crucial role in the management and administration of the college.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the Principal with the overall management and administration of the college in accordance with the Colleges of Education Act 2012 (Act 847) and the Harmonized Conditions of Service for Colleges of Education
Perform functions assigned by the Principal
Act as Principal in the absence of the Principal
Perform other legitimate roles and responsibilities assigned by the college

Required Qualifications & Experience

Distinguished Master Teacher and scholar in Teaching and Learning
Minimum rank of Principal Tutor
Master's Degree with research component in a relevant area of specialization
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a Senior Management position
Strong knowledge and working experience within Ghana's Tertiary Education system
Demonstrated excellence as a teacher with high degree of personal integrity

Preferred Qualifications

Doctoral Degree (PhD, Ed.D, or equivalent) in a relevant area of specialization

Terms of Appointment

Initial appointment period: 3 years
Must be able to complete at least one full term before reaching the compulsory retirement age of 60 years
Eligible for re-appointment for a maximum of one additional 3-year term, subject to satisfactory performance
Terms and conditions determined by the College Governing Council and Harmonized Conditions of Service for Colleges of Education
