About the Position

Nusrat Jahan Ahmadiyya College of Education is seeking a Vice Principal for their institution in the Upper West Region, Ghana. The role is full-time and permanent.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Principal in overall management and administration of the college
• Oversee academic and disciplinary matters in accordance with the Colleges of Education Act 2012 (Act 847) and regulatory provisions governing colleges of Education
• Perform functions assigned by the Principal
• Act in the absence of the Principal as required

Required Qualifications

• Distinguished master teacher and scholar with expertise in teaching and learning
• Current Principal Tutor status at a college of Education
• Research Master's Degree
• Demonstrated good character and high personal integrity

Required Experience

• Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in a senior management position
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of challenges facing colleges of Education and tertiary education in Ghana
• Ability to propose and implement measures to address sector challenges
• Capacity to complete at least one 3-year term before reaching mandatory retirement age of 60 years
