Position Overview

The University of Cape Coast, Faculty of Arts, Department of History is recruiting for a Professor position. This is an opportunity for an accomplished scholar to lead research and teaching in one of our specialized fields.

Specialization Fields

• African/African Diaspora History
• Asian History
• American (North, Latin, Central and South) History

Required Qualifications

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

• PhD with specialisation in one or more of the listed fields or a closely related academic area
• Considerable teaching experience in the relevant area of specialisation in a reputable tertiary institution
• Strong research background and professional experience
• International recognition for research carried out in the area of specialisation
• Demonstrated experience and commitment to excellent teaching at both graduate and undergraduate levels
