Position Overview

The University of Cape Coast, Faculty of Arts, Department of History invites applications from qualified candidates for a Senior Lecturer position.

Department & Specializations

Candidates should have expertise in one or more of the following fields:

• African/African Diaspora History
• Asian History
• American (North, Latin, Central and South) History

Required Qualifications & Experience

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Possess a PhD with specialization in one or more of the listed fields or a closely related academic area
• Demonstrate a strong research background and professional experience
• Have at least four years of teaching experience at the university level
• Have conducted research and published articles in peer-reviewed journals in the relevant area
• Show commitment to excellent teaching at both graduate and undergraduate levels
