TV Show Producer / Director at Parliamentary Service Of Ghana

Position Overview

The Parliamentary Service of Ghana invites applications from suitably qualified individuals to fill the position of TV Show Producer/Director. This role is responsible for planning and executing high-quality broadcast content in support of Parliament's communications objectives.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop programme concepts, formats and story lines
• Plan and oversee pre-production and post-production activities
• Direct on-air talent, camera operators and production crew during shoots and live broadcasts
• Manage production schedules, budgets and resources
• Supervise script development, rehearsals and run-downs
• Make creative and editorial decisions during filming and editing
• Coordinate with editors, sound designers and graphics teams
• Ensure content complies with regulatory, legal and broadcast standards
• Collaborate with network executives, sponsors and stakeholders
• Maintain rigorous quality control and ensure all deliverables meet production deadlines
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Clerk to Parliament

Qualifications and Experience Required

• First Degree in Film, Television Production, Mass Communication, Media Studies or a related field from an accredited university
• Minimum 4 years of post-qualification professional experience
• Master's Degree in a relevant subject area (preferred)
• Professional experience as a TV producer or director
