Swim Instructor at University of Ghana

About the Position

The University of Ghana invites applications from suitably qualified persons for the position of Swim Instructor in the Sports Directorate.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide high-standard swimming lessons to children and adults at the University of Ghana Swimming pool
• Plan and implement specialized lessons for people with special needs
• Administer CPR in times of emergencies
• Advise clients on matters related to swimming
• Demonstrate knowledge of lifeguarding in pools (added advantage)

Required Qualifications and Experience

The successful applicant must have:

• Minimum of SSCE/WASSCE/JHS
• A certificate in Swim Coaching and/or Swim Instructing from a recognized institution
• A minimum of 2 years of working experience
• A certificate in CPR or Lifeguarding (added advantage)
