Position Overview

The Transportation Manager is responsible for planning, directing, managing, coordinating, and supervising programs for acquisition, assignment, utilization, maintenance, repair, replacement, and disposal of fleet vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and administer vehicle and equipment asset management processes from procurement to disposition
• Supervise drivers, formulate backup rotation mechanisms, and conduct regular inspections
• Track fuel dispensation per kilometer
• Ensure procurement of spare parts
• Perform preventive maintenance of company trucks to reduce operational costs
• Maximize efficiency and minimize tracking operation costs
• Formulate vehicle driving routes according to vehicle conditions to ensure optimal operation and revenue
• Supervise the efficiency and quality of vehicle maintenance to reduce maintenance costs
• Establish safety inspection mechanisms for vehicles, goods, and drivers to minimize potential hazards
• Provide regular training to drivers, maintenance workers, and office personnel

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management or related field
• Minimum 2–3 years of work experience in Logistics Management
• Experience with Trailer Management
