About the Role

Join our Diagnostic Imaging team at West-View Medical Centre as a Sonographer. We are a leading healthcare provider dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care, and we are seeking a skilled and compassionate professional to perform a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound procedures. Your expertise will be vital in providing clear, accurate imaging for our physicians, contributing directly to timely and effective patient diagnoses and treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform various ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric/gynecological, vascular, and small parts studies
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment effectively and safely
• Ensure the comfort and safety of all patients during procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records and compile technical reports for interpreting physicians
• Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to optimize patient care
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and quality assurance protocols

Qualifications & Experience Required

• Certification or registration as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer
• Proven experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating proficiency across multiple ultrasound modalities
• Excellent technical skills and deep knowledge of anatomy and physiology
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on patient empathy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to continuing professional development
