Position Overview

We are seeking skilled Sewing Specialists to join our team and contribute to our mission by providing high-quality sewing services and training to our members and beneficiaries. You will be responsible for producing high-quality garments and accessories, training members in sewing techniques, and contributing to the overall success of our production unit.

Job Details

• Location: Taifa, Accra, Ghana
• Employment Type: Full-Time Contract
• Reports To: Admin Officer
• Number of Positions: 4

Key Responsibilities

Production

• Sew high-quality designs of reusable sanitary pads and accessories according to product specifications and timelines
• Ensure all products meet quality standards and customer expectations
• Meet weekly and monthly production targets
• Maintain and troubleshoot sewing machines and equipment as needed

Training and Mentorship

• Provide hands-on training and mentorship in product making to beneficiaries and other seamstresses
• Develop and implement sewing workshops and skill development sessions
• Assess members' skill levels and provide individualized guidance to improve their sewing abilities

Quality Control

• Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards
• Implement quality control procedures to minimize errors and ensure consistency

Collaboration and Teamwork

• Work closely with other team members to achieve production goals
