Senior Financial Accounting Manager at African Cashew Alliance (ACA)

Position Overview

The Senior Financial Accounting Manager will establish a robust financial and administrative framework for the African Cashew Alliance (ACA), ensuring strong internal controls, transparency, compliance with donor and international standards, and timely, accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead ACA's finance function and maintain sound financial systems
• Develop strategies for fundraising and financial sustainability
• Manage donor compliance and reporting, especially GIZ requirements
• Build and maintain relationships with financial institutions and donors
• Develop financial policies, manuals, and capacity-building programs
• Ensure adherence to internal, donor, and international standards

Required Qualifications & Experience

• ACCA Level 3 or equivalent professional qualification
• Minimum 7 years of senior-level financial management experience in the NGO or private sector
• Proven fundraising and donor engagement record
• Expertise in grant management, financial reporting, and compliance
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
• Experience with GIZ-funded projects is an asset
