Position Overview

Full-Time | Construction/Real Estate | Accra, Ghana

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and certify erected scaffolding for fitness and safe use
• Provide suitable tags following verification of scaffolding condition at site
• Ensure periodical cleaning and painting of scaffolding materials and certify for usage
• Verify scaffolding requirements at site and instruct the scaffolding crew on any necessary changes
• Monitor scaffolding erection at frequent intervals to ensure safe handling and usage
• Be available to work round the clock in case of plant exigency

Required Qualifications & Experience

• CITB (Construction Industry Training Board) qualified scaffolder advanced or CITB Approved Scaffold Inspector certification
• NVQ Level 3 scaffolder with relevant approved/validated record card
• Minimum 10 years working experience as a scaffolder, erecting conventional tube and fitting scaffold
• CISRS (Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme) certification
• Fluent command of written and spoken English

Preferred Qualifications

• Offshore experience
• Current BOSIET certification
• Current IMIST certification
• Current Medical certification
