Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Sales and Marketing Manager, the Sales & Distribution Officer will be responsible for managing the distribution of goods and products from the factory to customers and stores. You will plan and execute delivery schedules, manage warehouse and transportation operations, and oversee distribution activities while identifying sales opportunities and expansion possibilities.
This role also involves conducting market research and analysis to evaluate trends, brand awareness, and competitive activities. You will manage day-to-day customer and stakeholder interactions and collaborate closely with the Facility Maintenance Officer on other Product Department activities.
Essential Job Functions
- Oversee and develop marketing campaigns and promotions
- Conduct research and analyze data to identify and define target audiences
- Devise and present ideas and strategies for management review
- Ensure that monthly and weekly sales targets are achieved
- Gather customer and prospect feedback and share with internal teams
- Effectively manage the full sales cycle, including negotiating, closing deals, and handling customer complaints or objections
- Grow distribution width and depth in the designated sales area
- Develop distribution and delivery route maps and schedules within allocated territories
- Ensure proper visibility and availability of packaged water products in the assigned territory
