About the Role
We are seeking a Research Assistant to join our team at Imani Africa. You will collaborate closely with our research team on projects in the field of public economics and energy economics. You will be involved in all stages of the research process and are expected to work independently within the scope of your responsibilities.
Who We're Looking For
Candidate must be a recent graduate (not more than 5 years of experience) with potential to groom into a top-notch researcher. Strong preference will be given to applicants who have the potential and willingness to work for two years.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of bachelor's degree or master's degree in economics, mathematics, statistics, finance, computer science, or any other quantitatively-oriented field from a Ghanaian University
- Strong analytical, organizational, writing, and communications skills
- Self-motivation and readiness to learn (training will be provided)
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate on research design, conduct data analysis, and interpret results
- Help create various survey and polling instruments such as questionnaires
- Draft and edit reports, manuscripts, and presentations
