About This Opportunity
J.E. Austin Associates, Inc. (JAA), acting on behalf of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) as implementer of the USAID Bicycles for Growth (BFG) Project, is soliciting proposals from qualified organizations to conduct research on the bicycle sector in Ghana.
Eligibility
This opportunity is open to qualified, legally registered Ghanaian:
- Non-profit organizations
- For-profit companies and organizations of all types
- Non-governmental organizations (NGOs)
Proposal Structure
This Request for Proposals (RFP) includes the following sections:
- Section 1 – Funding Opportunity Description and Scope of Work
- Section 2 – Detailed Instructions
- Section 3 – Proposal Submission and Preparation Information
- Section 4 – Evaluation and Award Information
- Section 5 – Administration Information
- Section 6 – Annexes
Key Responsibilities
The successful bidder will be responsible for:
- Ensuring achievement of specified deliverables
- Conducting comprehensive research on the bicycle sector in Ghana
Submission Requirements
- Only one proposal per organization per RFP
- Organization cannot be a partner in another proposal for the same RFP
- All partners must meet the eligibility criteria outlined in Section 2.1
- Subcontracting requires prior JAA approval
Subcontracting Policy
If subcontracting is necessary, the primary offeror must perform a substantial portion of activities, including program management, operations, and delivery of required services. Joint ventures and other agreements with external organizations require prior JAA approval.
Award Information
JAA intends to award one Firm Fixed Price subcontract for this project.
